John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” Jesus does not abandon us to our struggles. He is with us and we can claim his peace even in the most troubling of times.
Threw you a little curve ball there, huh? I put the scripture reading/thought in the beginning of my post instead of the end. Why? Well my sweet friends, have you ever felt that God was nudging you? Gently telling you to do something? Well I have been getting some gentle nudging for awhile regarding this blog and other areas of my life.
By putting God’s word first here, I also want to concentrate on putting it first in every aspect of my life. I still enjoy fashion and styling clothes, but I need to be careful to not make an idol out of it. Does that make sense?
I will still share posts about what I wore, but perhaps not so often. I do hope to share much more meaningful information here too. Information that will be truly beneficial.
That being said, on to the outfit!
Windy days and outfit photos are tricky combination!
These are my favorite camo jeans from last year. I don’t wear them in the summer so it was fun to pull them out again. At first, I thought I would wear my cognac riding boots, then remembered tan wedge booties so on they went. It made comfortable date night outfit. Hubby and I went out for pizza on Friday My daughter met us there and she actually said she liked my pants. Shocker.
