Capsule completed! I’ve been waiting a long time to say that! This has been a fun and frustrating learning experience for me and I’m glad I stuck it out.
For these last few outfits, I have decided to stray a bit from the exact pieces. However, I have a good reason – It’s cold out!! For the last several weeks, I have watched some bloggers post adorable Fall outfits with sweaters, lots of layers and boots. The thing is, is that I know darn well that it was 90 degrees and it just looked a little funny to me.Well the reverse has happened here. It’s quite chilly – in the 40s in the mornings. When I went to photograph these last 3 outfits, I decided that I looked funny (and cold) in my open toe wedges. I decided to add boots to the dress and then one thing lead to another and I ended up adding a long sleeved top to the white jeans, then went completely rogue and added leopard cardigan to my black ankle pants.
I had intended to wear the mustard cardigan with this outfit and then decided to try playing around with a little pattern mixing and went with this leopard one instead. It’s an outfit of neutrals (leopard is a neutral – right?), but not too boring with the mix of leopard and stripes.
Well, the only place I stayed true to the capsule in this outfit is with the white jeans. If you are still on the fence about wearing white after Labor Day, here is another example of how you can do it! Black and white look fresh all year long!
Friends, I may have strayed, but I stayed warm! stop back on Friday for a recap of Early Fall Capsule Work Wardrobe.

Words to live by: Hebrews 4:16 Let us approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Prayer is our approach to God and we are to come with confidence. Don’t be afraid to ask God to meet your needs. Come with reverence because he is your King, but come also with bold assurance because he is your friend and ally.
Have a lovely day my friends!
