Happy Mid-Week Wednesday! We’re back for some more Early Fall Capsule Work Wear Remixing. I mean, that’s what I have planned…..Even though I’m a bit over it…..I mean….Let’s face it, when you limit yourself to a small, finite number of clothing items to choose from, you are going to get a bit tired of it. However, I lasted a lot longer with this personal challenge than I have with other style challenges. The main difference is that with this challenge, I chose what was going into my capsule, and I chose what to wear each day. I feel like I had more control.
Anne in Residence posted an abbreviated capsule wardrobe, meant to just take her through a week or for when she needs an outfit to grab and go. I think it is well worth the read. How cute are those blue suede booties?? I love everything in her mini capsule.
Here is what I have for you mid-week:
Love the versatility of this polka dot tunic. I decided to try my capri length leggings with it. Now, while infinitely comfortable, I did not want to wear this to work. Even though everything is covered, the tunic moves in a way that I felt might not be completely modest. I’m pretty conservative when it comes to what I’m willing to share with the world!
So here we are back with the the floral kimono….What do they say? “It keeps turning up like a bad penny!” I included it in my capsule just to prove that I could keep remixing it through the Fall. I actually like how it looks paired with the camel ankle pants. Did you jump on the kimono trend this summer? Have you thought about how you could transition it into the Fall?
Feel free to scroll through to see all my capsule looks.

Words to live by: 1 Kings 19:13 After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper. God often reveals himself by quietly whispering in a humbled heart. Step back from the noise and activity of your busy life and listen humbly for his guidance. It may come when you least expect it. – *From the NIV Study Bible Notes
