Prints are fun and always add a layer of interest to an outfit. However, in order to fully utilize my closet, I’ve decided to try to style 3 solid colors.
First off, I chose my black ankle pants. I figured that was an easy base for the rest of my outfit. Next, I went with my cream color, button up blouses. I decided to top it off with this pinky, coraly sweater. I think the blingy statement necklace finishes it off nicely. Annnnnnd, because I just couldn’t leave well enough alone, I added this striped purse.
On a side note, I know that everywhere you look, there are lists of the basic wardrobe pieces that every woman must own. And on every list there is a long sleeved, white blouse. I have to say, that I have never owned one, nor do I feel deprived! This cream blouse serves about the same purpose and the cream color is more flattering to my skin tone. Just saying. Feel free to edit such lists so that they work for you.
Actually, this prompt was a great way to look at some of the underused items in my closet and come up with a completely new outfit!
I challenge you to try it!
Tomorrow, we are looking at boots and booties and you all know how I love my boots!

I can’t tell you how much I am enjoying my current Bible study. It’s called “Love Like Him.”
1 Corinthians 13:3 “If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.”
Have a lovely day my friends!
