What does a “Date Night” look like for you?
Since my husband and I are empty nesters, date nights are fairly common for us. We like to go out with friends for cocktails and appetizers. Or we will head for dinner and or a movie. When the weather is warmer, we like to go wine tasting or find a place with a patio and live music. However, today the temperatures struggled to get out of teens and the wind was pretty fierce. This is what I wore to work and after we snapped a few pics, we headed over to a new Mexican place so we could indulge in tacos and margaritas. ( Well, he had a beer. I had the margarita!) Perfect Friday night date!
I’m wearing my cozy black tunic sweater with blingy details on the neck and collar. And yes, as a matter of fact, I am wearing pants. You just can’t tell because of the snow. Yes, in fact, white pants in the middle of winter. Deliciously rebellious! I love the way the white and black contrast so nicely together.
Have you tried white pants this winter?
Tomorrow for Create28, I’ll be showing a dressy look. With yet another storm coming in, it will definitely be an “all dressed up with no place to go” look!

Through my Bible study “Love Like Him”, I am being convicted to love with actions those who are ‘unloveable’. Not.Easy.
1 Corinthians 13:6-7 “Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”
Have a lovely day my friends!
