Hey Friends! Here we are on day 1 of Create28. I’m following the challenge of the lovely Carrie over at A Lovely Little Wardrobe and will be bringing you a new look created from things already in my closet for each day of the month of February. Each day comes with a prompt. For instance, today’s was “Your Favorite Look”. Now that’s a bit daunting to come up with my favorite look out of everything I have in my closet! I simplified the prompt by choosing one favorite piece, and building an outfit around it. Enter my polka dot coat. I’ve been pretty much been wearing it constantly since Christmas. I decided to brighten up the look with my hot pink pencil skirt. For you regular readers of She Thought She Could, this is What I Wore to Church!
This is a really fun way to look at your clothes in a fresh way. By using Carrie’s, prompts, you can create lots of new looks with things you already own! I encourage you to join in the fun. There will be link ups on Mondays starting on Februay 9th. Also, you can post your look on Instagram with the hashtag Create28BLovely.
For tomorrow, create a monochromatic look. I can’t wait to see what you come up with!
The Rundown: Coat, belt, necklace – Target; skirt – Loft; riding boots – Macy’s
Friends, Jesus’ promises are true and you can trust in them.
John 14: 1-2 Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in Me. In my Fathers’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you.
Have a lovely day my friends!
