Welcome to day 3 of Create28 where we are standing firmly in neutral territory!
Since I just posted a neutral look a few days ago, I was a little concerned that I wouldn’t be able to come up with a different look. Turns out that I was limiting myself by only thinking of tan as neutral. When you think about it, a neutral is a color that goes with just about any other color. When you think of it that way, what could be more neutral than white?? I decided to pull out my white jeans for a spin. The sweater has a white stripe in it so it really pulls in the white jeans. I threw on my cream colored vest and some blingy pearls. I think white looks so fresh in the winter. Especially since we’ve all been wearing so much black and grey. I completed the look with cognac riding boots and my new bag. This Madewell bag was a Christmas gift from my husband. (Actually, my daughter, his elf helped him out here!) Even though it was ordered before Christmas, it just arrived this past weekend.
This is the neutral outfit I posted about a few days ago. I’m wearing the same striped sweater under the cardigan.
Have you tried to put a neutral outfit together? If not, I encourage you to pull out your white jeans and see what you can put together. Remember, you can Instagram your look using the hashtag #Create28BLovely.
For tomorrow, I’ll be sharing a look with colored bottoms. You could choose pants, jeans, or a skirt. I’d love to hear and see what you choose.
The Rundown: Striped sweater, white jeans – Loft; Vest – Old Navy; Necklace – Lia Sophia; Riding boots – Macy’s; Mini Transport Bag – Madewell
Our Father in Heaven knows everything about us. There is no reason to hide or keep your distance.
Psalm: 139:1-4 O Lord, you have searched me and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely, O Lord.
Have a lovely day my friends!
