Patterned bottoms don’t just mean pants anymore.
For our prompt today, we are styling patterned bottoms. I decided to go with floral print skirt that I have not worn that often. I meant when I purchased it, I saw all kinds of possibilities. It’s just that in reality, I have had a hard time coming up with a look I’m happy with while wearing it. The skirt appears to be denim but is actually a sleeker material if that makes sense. It has a lovely floral print within the fabric. Sense I have committed to styling only what is already in my closet, I made another go at this skirt. And you know what? I’m really happy with how this look came together. I decided to match the floral print which is a grey, with a grey tee and cardigan. I (of course) added another pattern in the blue and white print scarf and even snuck in some leopard with the belt. Sneaky, sneaky me. One thing that I am finding with this Create28 challenge is, when I force myself to stay with what I already own, I really do have plenty of options.
Here is a another patterned bottom: Camo pants! These have been fun to style. Since they can be ultra casual, I usually try to dress up my top half. (Just noticed that I wore blingy pearls in both photos!)
I hope you have taken some inspiration on how to add a little pattern onto your bottom half! Tomorrow we want you to show us your chambray. Start planning your outfits 🙂
The Rundown: Grey cardigan – NY&CO; Tee and skirt – Gap; Boots – Macy’s; Purse – Kate Spade Second look: Camo pants – Loft; Military vest, cream vest – Old Navy
My dear ones, we are all in need of forgiveness. Sometimes, by ourselves. By the work of our Lord Jesus, God has forgiven us. Do not be tempted to reclaim your sin. His forgiveness is perfect. Your slate is wiped clean.
Colossians 3: 13 Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
Have a lovely day my friends.
