I’ve created a monochromatic look with shades of grey for day 2 of Create28. Usually when I wear all one color, I try to add a pop with either shoes or handbag choice. However with this snow, my shoe choices are somewhat limited. Enter my comfy, cozy, grey Uggs! I started with marled tunic. Next went on my long, ruffled, grey cardigan. On top of that I’m wearing a dark grey knitted infinity scarf. I have finished off the look with a softer shade of grey handbag.
If you are wearing monochromatic look, be sure to add some interest with texture. This trick will subtly break up the monotone look and give it more interest. I did that here with the knitted scarf, ruffles on the cardigan and the leather in the handbag.
For tomorrow’s look, we are going to flex our our remixing muscles and put together a neutral look. I’ve had fun with this so far! I hope you are thinking of playing along!
The Rundown: Cardigan, grey ponte pants – Macy’s; tunic top, infinity scarf – Old Navy; Boots – Uggs; Handbag – Kate Spade
Friends, we are all delivered bad news at times. It’s important not to dwell on the bad news. Instead, bring your concerns to the one who cares for everything about you.
Psalm 112:4,7 Even in darkness, light dawns for the upright, for the gracious and compassionate and righteous man,…He will have no fear of bad news; his heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord.
Have a lovely day friends!
