Here we are on day 6 of Create28 and I’m showing some love to my favorite denim dress.
Hey, where’s the snow? No, it did not magically melt since yesterday. (I wish. Oh, you don’t know how bad I wish.) In fact, we received a couple of more inches this morning and we are apparently in for another big storm starting over the weekend. So in that light, I am using some pics that have already appeared on the blog. This is real life folks. Sometimes, you just can’t take pictures.
In the photos above, I’m wearing my denim dress with a snow leopard scarf, black tights and riding boots. I love this look. I do wish I wore a black belt though. Note to self: Get a wide, black belt.
Back in the fall, I styled the same dress with leopard scarf, cognac belt and boots with navy tights. This dress is so comfy, I really could wear it every day.
One thing I really like about this dress is the feminine detail of the flower pattern within the denim. I think it adds a nice amount of interest.
For tomorrow, we are talking about our favorite cardigans or comfy sweaters! Are you in? I’d love to hear about your favorite sweater and a new way you’ve styled it!
In addition to Create28, I’m also linking up with the Style Me Bloggers today. We are talking about Random Acts of Kindness.
Even though I drink 2-3 cups of coffee at home before I leave for work, I
usually always stop at a drive through for a to go cup to bring to work. Go ahead and say it. Everyone else is thinking it: Addict. Sometimes, I like to pay for the car behind me when I pull up to pay for my coffee. I have had this done for me a couple of times and man, what an uplifting start to my day! My hope is that it gives that person a feeling of joy to start their work day.
I don’t say this looking for a pat on the back. I do say it to remind you lovely friends to look for random acts of kindness. They are out there. I believe that the love we share to our fellow man will spread. Far.
