So far for this challenge, I have styled stripes, polka dots, stripes with polka dots, plaid, leopard (regular and snow), and gingham. However, there is a print I haven’t really touched yet….Floral! I wanted to style a new print and I don’t actually own a lot of floral pieces so I when I came across this cardigan in my closet, I thought I’d give it a go.
I also wanted something I could belt to go along with Audrey’s PMT Style Challenge which was to wear something belted. Friends, I call that killing 2 birds with one stone!
I’ve had this printed cardigan for a few years, but have only won it a handful of times. The thing about a bold print like this, is that it doesn’t fit easily into a your regular rotation. I mean I do like it, but unlike a solid cardigan that I could change up with scarves, necklaces etc, this one can’t come out to play more than a few (and by that, I mean 2) times a season. This is definitely something I have learned of late. I prefer having items in my closet that I can re-mix and wear more often. Still, I’m happy to have a chance to wear today!
The Rundown: Cardigan, shoes, long sleeved tee – Target; Pants – The Limited; Belt – F21
I love to count my blessings instead of sheep! When we are thankful to God, we keep self-pity at bay.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 “In everything give thanks, for this is God’s will for you.”
Have a lovely day my friends!
