I thought I would do a little recap of our tropical vacation!
We left New York aboard the Norwegian Breakaway on April 3rd. It was a blast to stand on the upper deck as we sailed past the Statue of Liberty, waving goodbye! It was pretty chilly and breezy at that point, so we headed inside to explore the ship and find food! Turns out, there is no shortage of food in any form.
The next morning was glorious. We opened slider to our deck and were greeted with sunshine and soft, warm breezes. Sheer heaven after the winter these weary Northeners experienced.
We headed into the ice bar just to experience it. Turns out it was one of the highlights! They gave us fur lined capes and gloves to wear. The drinks were served in cups that were made of ice. The walls and chairs were made of ice. So much fun!
We went to Disney as one of our excursions. Fun, but not enough time there.
Since it was just hubby and I (and about 4000 of our closest friends!), we were like 2 kids in a candy store! We had a blast and enjoyed some distraction free time together.
If you are in the market for great time, I highly recommend the NCL Breakaway!
I sometimes wonder who I can trust in certain situations. However there is one who can always be trusted 100% of the time. Psalm 112:7 “He will have no fear of bad news; his heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord.” It’s true. You can trust Him with every aspect of your life.
