We had a dress down day at school today. This is big doings mister. We only get to wear jeans to school 3-4 times a year, so I of course took full advantage. It was so fun to actually plan an outfit around jeans. What a concept, right?
It was very cold, with snow on the way so I knew I wanted to be layered up. I went with my military style jacket. This is a slightly different style jacket than others I have seen out there. It has a hi-lo hemline that I love. Also, it can be worn as a rain jacket. I really love wearing my blanket scarf on these fridgid days. The look rounds out with my grey, wedge ankle booties, which you can’t really see. You’ll have to trust me here. They’re cute.
How about you? What are your favorite ways to layer up?
The Rundown: Jacket, scarf and tee – Target; Jeans – Loft; Booties – I don’t remember the name of the store, but it was in The Mall of America
I’m continuing to learn about hoping and trusting in God. I’m trying to practice trusting in God when times are fairly calm, that way, when storms arise, I think of Him first. Storing up treasures in Heaven.
When I am afraid, I will trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me? Psalm 56:3-4
