Words to live by: Psalm 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
I tried my hand at fun little DIY project recently that I thought I would share with you. I planted some succulents in pretty little containers. When I read this post from Keira, I knew I had to try it.
I headed over to my local garden center (after having zero luck at both Lowes and Wal-Mart). Just stepping into the indoor greenhouse was a feast for the eyes!
Gorgeous geraniums and hydrangeas as well as flowering, hanging baskets. It was so uplifting just going walking around and checking out the beauty hidden inside!
The flowers were pretty, but I was on a mission to find succulents!
The first thing you will need to do is pick out a pretty container, or two. They had a huge selection at my local garden center, but maybe you have something around the house you could use.
Next, pick out a few plants and try them out in the container to see if they fit. You’ll also need special potting soil mix for succulents. I also decided to add some tiny pebbles as ground cover.
