I’m back today with another Fashionable Friend Friday post for you. I have a sweet friend for you to meet! Her name is Susan McEachnie and she comes from the lovely, sunny state of Florida. Susan is a fellow style challenger and has the happiest, sunniest disposition! Her cheerful personality shines through her outfit pics. I’m sure you will think so too as you scroll through her photos.
I love that Susan is not afraid of color. She embraces it! How lovely and confident she looks in her outfits. Read on to learn a little more about her:
I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart, Bill, for 37.5 years. We have two awesome adult children! I was a stay at home Mom for 18 years & loved every crazy wonderful minute.
I love life, laughter, anything outdoors & near water, healthy living (I share a product called Juice Plus+ & I even ran/walked the Disney Half Marathon a few years ago.) & mostly love my Savior Jesus.
My Mom & Grandmother instilled great values in me and to value all that God gave me and that included valuing the vessel He gave me. I love taking care of myself & I feel my prettiest when I get up & get dressed to face the day. I do believe clothes can make or break a person. When I dress nice I feel better about myself, more confident, more self assured, secure & happy which flows over into my relationships. I feel doing the little extras to take care of myself portray’s to others the message that I will go the extra mile for them. It’s a win! Win!
I love what Susan has said about valuing the vessel God gave us. 1 Corinthians 6:19 reminds us of this too : Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.
Thank you Susan so much for sharing on Fashionable Friend Friday!
I had the opportunity to get away for a couple of days with a dear girlfriend. We have head a tradition for several years to leave right after school ends on the last day of school and head to the beach for a couple of days. This year we had to postpone for a few days, as my friend was in the throws of moving. I was thrilled when she called and said “I’m sick of unpacking boxes. Let’s go to the beach!!” Yes!
This is a quirky, eclectic place called Perks & Corks. They are known for their extensive coffees, cappuccinos, and martinis. We were on vacation – guess what I chose!
How about you? Any getaways planned?
I hope you have a lovely day my friends!
