Words to live by:Hebrews 13:4 Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed be kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral. Real love produces tangible actions like respect for your marriage vows.
So do you ever have an outfit that in theory (let’s just say, in your mind) works, but in reality is all kinds of wrong?! I hope that’s an ‘Amen’ I’m hearing. Friends, I give you the outfit I wore Sunday. I see now that it mostly fell flat, but I decided to share anyway because I like the rest of the pictures from our day.
I wore my denim dress, leggings, flats, and for actual warmth, a lighter color denim jacket. Sounds like it should work, but it just kind of looks…..blah. Oh well.
I wore this outfit to church and then on to our favorite farm to pick out decorations for our porch. I actually thought we were going to go home first and had another outfit in mind to wear to the farm, but hubby wanted go straight away.
I do like the light coming through the trees here.
I usually choose 3 mums for the porch 3 for the planters in the back and then another 3 to plant around the mailbox.
I just love all the beautiful fall colors here. We have been coming to the same farm every fall for about 10 years. In addition to mums and pumpkins, we always look forward to picking up some macoun apples. They are seriously the best! Tart, crispy, and juicy.
Here are a few pics of what I have done so far on the porch:
I love this little lantern. It has a battery operated candle in it.
My husbands grandmother painted this sign over 40 years ago. She used an old piece of barn wood. I love that we can still enjoy it in our home.
So my outfit wasn’t very inspiring, but hopefully my fall porch is!
Have a lovely day my friends!
