I’m laughing looking at these pictures because I know how frozen we were taking them. I mean, it was stupid cold. Stupid for me to be out taking pictures of what I wore today so I could post them on the internet. Of course there are some that would argue that this is a stupid thing to do in any weather. I digress.
The Style Me Bloggers are linking up today to share something from our closets with the theme “Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed in a Shade of Blue”. This should be a fun twist on the old wedding rhyme. For my old, I wore a necklace that my sister in law gave me about 15 years ago. My new is the cream and black striped tee that is peeking out from the button down. Something borrowed you ask? Well this is a fun one. I chose my polka dot vest. I “borrowed” the idea to shop for it in the girls department from
Ginny at My New Favorite Outfit. I chose this blue bottom down as well as my navy blue ponte pants to cover the shade of blue requirement. This was a comfy outfit for a chilly day. Actually, it was a fun way to come up with an outfit from my closet. Why don’t you give it a try? I’d love to hear about what
you came up with!
Sometimes you just need to put a hat on it!

This week I have been thinking a lot about hope. The more we put our hope in in God, the more He bears the weight of our burdens.
He actually wants us to lean on Him so he can carry us!
Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
