Matthew 1: 20-21 “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.” Jesus came to earth to save us because we can’t save ourselves from sin and its consequences. No matter how good we are, we can’t eliminate the sinful nature present in all of us. Only Jesus can do that.
First off, I thought I would share how I transitioned my front porch from Fall to Christmas with just a few changes. I love when I go to someone’s house and feel welcome right from the start. I tried to create a cozy, welcome place for my guests to come into our home.

It’s been unusually warm here for the month of December. I probably would have added riding boots instead of the flats if it were a little colder.
I picked up this cozy, green cardigan at Target over the Thanksgiving weekend, but this is the first time it’s made it to the blog. I have already found tons of ways to wear it. If you are interested, I think it is still available in stores.
How is your Christmas preparation going?? I’m getting there! Lots to do, but I truly love every minute of it!
