While completing the wardrobe capsule, I didn’t really do a “What I Wore to Church” post. That is to say, that we still went to church, just didn’t capture the look on film – or digital image. Whatever.
So because I like to keep track of these things (and who knows, maybe you do too!), here is what I wore to church this past Sunday:
This has got to be the softest dress ever. You know when maybe you don’t really feel very well, and you are looking for something that still looks put together, but feels like jammers? (That’s right. I said jammers.) This dress fits the bill for me! I’d been fighting a little sore throat and general yucky feeling all weekend and wanted to be as comfy – and warm as could be. I was going to add a bright cardigan, but really liked how the black looked with the dress. It has a little ruffle detail on one side that helped to add visual interest. When going monochromatic, a little texture helps to break up a single color. I added my favorite little bow belt on top of the cardigan. Blingy pearls rounds out the look.
Friends, I just want to take a moment to tell you how much it means to me that you take time to stop by and read (or just look at the pictures on) my blog! I have been posting for just over a year now and I have loved (almost) every minute of it. I tell people that it is my fun little pastime – and that is exactly what it is. However, the best thing about my blog is you. I love reading your comments and emails. I give thanks for for you. Thank you again for stopping by!
