A few weeks ago I shared how I have fallen hard for the kimono trend. I thought I would share another kimono look for you:
I think one thing that I enjoy so much about kimonos is the versatility. In the photos above, I am wearing it loose and open, but you can easily tie up the ends and wear it that way. It looks and feels more like a printed shirt when tied up. I love how lightweight a kimono feels against your skin in the summer. Walking around, it almost floats and feels breezy.
I ended up wear it open on Saturday for a fun afternoon date with my hubby! My daughters gave my hubby tickets to see “Kinky Boots” for Christmas. If you want to see a really fun musical, I highly recommend it. We actually saw it a year ago on Broadway and loved it.
Since we were going to be in downtown, we decided to have a ‘fancy ‘ lunch. We went to Trumbull Kitchen and shared an appetizer of Asian Lettuce cups. So good! Steve had a steak and I had a chicken sandwich with avocado and hummus. Delicious!
I hope you all had a great weekend!
See you back here on Wednesday for another Style Challenge Recap!

I the previous post about Summer Reading, I shared a little about my morning routine of coffee and quiet devotion time. This morning, this verse was part of reading and wanted to share it with you: Psalm 5:3 In the morning, O Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation. I really love this morning routine!
Have a lovely day my friends!
