Hi Friends! I can call you friends, right? Well, you are friends to me!
I’m a day late in showing you what I wore for St.Patrick’s Day. Mostly because, hello? It’s what I actually wore yesterday!
You may or may not know that I grew up in California, and on St. Paddy’s day you had to wear green or you would get pinched. I’m not talking figuratively. Literally pinched. However, here in Connecticut, no one knows about that tradition. Do you get pinched if not wearing green where you live? Don’t worry. It’s not like I was permanently scarred or anything. I just learned early on the importance of choosing my outfits wisely!
I’m wearing my favorite spring green blouse again. This time, with navy dress pants. I decided to to employ the “half tuck” and really like how it turned out. I added the leopard belt because, you know, leopard. It was warm enough to wear my peep toe wedges, so that was a win in my book.
I wore this to work and then to my book club where we enjoyed green sangria, corned beef, reuben sliders, Irish soda bread and chocolate dipped strawberries. I know. You are wondering if it is a book club or an eating club. Actually, we do both well. The name of our club is “Reading Between the Wines” and we do that well too.
I hope you mid week is off to a good start!

The same God who created life in you can be trusted with all the details of your life. Psalm 84:12 “O Lord Almighty, blessed is the man who trusts in you.”
Have a lovely day my friends!
