Words to live by: Luke 6:37 Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. We are called to be compassionate and not critical of others. When we learn to live generously, graciously, and compassionately, these qualities will come back to us.
First off, I apologize for not posting at all last week. It was all on account of lousy lighting in my photos! I did get dressed. Everyday. The pictures however, were just not worth your time. I promise!
I have been dutifully wearing my Winter clothes without shopping for anything new since December 26th. This my friends, was a lot easier in December and January than it is is in March!! The weather here in Connecticut is starting to feel like we really are having an early Spring. We are even forecasted to have a 70 degree day this week. Of course, that will be short lived and we will head back down into the low 50’s, but that is still much warmer than where we were this time last year!
I digress. You see, I talk about the weather so much here, because it truly dictates what can or can’t wear each day. I’ll probably start wearing some of my (old) Spring clothes this week, so I’m pretty excited for that. I’m getting pretty tired of my winter duds!
One thing I have noticed that is lacking in my wardrobe is prints. I feel like I have several striped tops and a few polka dot tops/sweaters, but man – I really crave me some floral print blouses and dresses. My inner chant goes something like this : What do we want? PRINTS! When do we want them? NOW! When will I shop for them? Not until April. Insert sad face here.
Here is what I wore to church:
How are you doing with the transition to Springish temps? Are you adding anything new to your wardrobe? Please share in the comments. I’d love to live vicariously through you. 🙂
Have a lovely day my friends!
