Well friends, I’m officially at the 2 week mark. 2 Week mark you ask? It means I have exactly 2 weeks of Summer vacation left. I know, I know, I shouldn’t whine. I’ve had an absolutely wonderful summer full of vacations, relaxing in the sun and time spent with friends and family. For that I am truly thankful! But I can’t help feeling a little bit of panic starting to set in. It mainly has to do with my mornings. You see, during the summer, I don’t set an alarm and have a peaceful morning of drinking coffee and reading my devotions, and planning what I’m going to do for the day. However, once school starts, the alarm goes off at 5:15. Yikes! Then it’s a mad rush to get out the door on time.
I need to be very organized in knowing exactly what I’m going to wear, so I’ve stared planning a few outfits that can be go-tos for those harried mornings. I love mustard and navy together and although I can’t wear shorts to work, I think this outfit would look great with navy dress pants.
I’ve had these shorts for a few years, and usually just wore them with white or off white. I came across this shirt in my closet and realized I hardly ever wear it. I decided to try it with my these shorts and voila – a match made in mustard heaven!
If you see me looking distracted, it may be because she is always wondering around bumping into trees… or me.
Wearing: Cardigan, shorts – Target; Shirt – Macy’s; Wedges – b.o.c. via Marshall’s; Necklace – made by me
Words to live by:
Isaiah 61:10 I delight greatly in the Lord, my soul rejoice in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness. What does this mean? He himself has made me righteous – He paid for my righteousness with his own blood. 2 Corinthians 5:21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
Have a lovely day my friends!
