I believe this is a first my friends. I’m actually posting what I wore TODAY! I know you are probably thinking that is how I always do it. Let me explain. You see, in a perfect world, I would show you all what I wore each day. However we live in a fallen world where life gets in the way. A lot. I do have a goal to eventually post in real time regularly. For now though, I have a number of outfit photos I want to share with you, so real time will just have to wait. Again.
I am surprised just how much use I have gotten (gotten…is that really a word?) out of this red plaid shirt and puffer vest. In reality, it’s not really a puffer. More of lightweight, quilted vest I suppose. Either way, it sure is a workhorse in the wardrobe. This skirt has been around for 10 plus years and I still find new ways to wear it. That is one of the things I love to do with a little spare time. Finding ways to style newer pieces with older pieces in my closet.

I’m currently using a daily devotional called “Jesus calling” and todays devotions discussed how exhausting it is to cater to other peoples expectations – either real or imagined. You can feel enslaved to pleasing them. How different it is to instead be more focused on pleasing the Lord. In that, we are not exhausted, but given peace.
Philippians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
