Words to live by:
He calls his own sheep by name. – John 10:3
Softly and tenderly Jesus is calling,
calling for you and for me; see on the portals
he’s waiting and watching, watching for you and for me.
Come home, come home
ye who are weary , come home
earnestly, tenderly, Jesus is calling,
calling O sinner, come home!
We sang this hymn in church this morning and I decided to share the first verse here. It is such a pretty hymn. Amy Grant recorded a beautiful version on her album “Rock of Ages”.
I have been itching to wear this new necklace that I picked up for a steal from The Limited. Besides being a pretty combination of colors, I couldn’t pass up the deal. It was originally $44.95, on “Final Sale” for $9.99 plus 50% off!! Yup, 5 bucks!
I decided to wear a soft, yellow, sleeveless blouse that I have had for about 5 years. Over that, I wore short sleeved cardigan in the same shade. Since I am not ready for full on pants yet, I went with my navy capri pants.
I wore my trusty, blue wedges.
I have really come to appreciate navy and yellow together. It may be more of a traditional spring combination, but I think it works for late summer/early fall too.
This turned out to be such a comfortable work outfit. When I was too warm, I just slipped off the cardi and still felt pulled together.
How about you, do you have any color combinations that you love?
Have a lovely day my friends!
