The Style Me Bloggers are at it again. This time we are sharing a favorite meal. I love to cook and try new recipes so I’m eager to see what the other bloggers are cooking up!
I decided to share a super easy meal that is fancy enough for company but quick enough for any weeknight medal. I’ts Shrimp with Lime and Cilantro. You can easily have this on the table in less than 15 minutes start to finish.
Here is what you’ll need:
About 1 and half pounds of uncooked shrimp
2-3 tsps olive oil
3/4 tsp cumin
salt and pepper to taste
juice of 1 lime
3-4 tsps of minced garlic
chopped fresh cilantro
Season the shrimp with cumin, salt and pepper. Heat up the oil in a pan over medium high heat. Add the shrimp and sauté about 1 minute. Then add the garlic and cook another 2 minutes. Shrimp should be pink when done. At this point add the lime juice. You’re almost done! I like to serve it over rice. Top with cilantro. Add a tossed salad and dinner is served. Enjoy!
