Good Monday morning lovelies. Happy MLK day to you. I don’t know about you, but I have the day off. (insert happy dance here)
So yesterday morning, hubby and I got up as usual for a Sunday and after coffee and such, I jumped in the shower and got ready for church. As I was doing my hair, I turned on the local news and they were saying how terribly icy the roads were and to stay home if at all possible! What?! But I’m all ready! Grrr. All was not lost. We decided to grab a few outfit photos before the rain came. So at least getting dressed was not for nothing.
I’m sporting my favorite denim dress that I picked up at Gap in the fall. This time around, I added my snow leopard scarf and black riding boots. I think the outfit would have looked better with a black belt, but mine is too narrow. I’ll have to put a wide, black belt on my wish list.
Have a beautiful day my friends!

January is my birth month and I add another year on. As I think about my body getting older, I am reminded that God is working on and perfecting my inward being.
2 Corinthians 4:16-18 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So that we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
