We woke this morning to a little snow. It’s actually quite pretty. They say it won’t stick around ’til Christmas though. Boo. In fact, it’s supposed to warm up to 50 degrees on Christmas Day. So I will enjoy the pretty view as I bake cookies this afternoon.
This is what I wore to church. The sweater is lightweight and comfortable. I don’t know if you can see but it has a jeweled neckline. I paired it with a skirt I just picked up from Gap on – you guessed it – the clearance rack. It was originally $59, marked down to $29 with 50% off plus some other discount. Yada, yada, yada. I paid $11. What can I say? Deep discounts are my kryptonite. However, in my defense, I think this skirt is going to be a real workhorse in my wardrobe. It’s neutral color is seasonless and can be paired with so much. Friends, when choosing new things to add to your closet, look for items that can be mixed and remixed with several items you already own. This one way to get out of the “I’ve got nothing to wear” wardrobe rut.
The Rundown: Sweater, blouse – Target; skirt – Gap;booties – Macy’s
This morning was our churches annual Christmas Nativity. The Sunday school children perform the patent and it is just precious. I don’t even have a child in it and I tear up through out the performance. It’s just so precious to hear these little voices singing about Jesus and His love. I LOVE THIS TIME OF YEAR!
