Good Monday Morning to you! I have just under 3 weeks left of school and I can’t wait!!
We woke up to rain and on Sunday morning and it was such a nice sound. We haven’t have had rain for weeks so we are all pretty happy about it. Obviously, nothing as serious as the horrible drought in California, just a little dry spell, I suppose.
This is what I wore to church:
This is such a light an airy dress. It has an elastic waist, but I feel like it needs a belt over the the elastic. It’s a little too “blousy” without it. Since the belt is made of leather and rope, I added my macrame bag with leather straps and cognac sandals.
I wish the pictures were more clear. I wanted to show how I “did” my hair today. When the weather gets warm and humid, I’m always looking for easier ways to handle it. Today, I used volumizing mousse all over, then lightly blew it dry. I styled my bangs the usual way with a round brush, then added several pumps of sea salt spray to get that ‘piecy’ look. Unfortunatly, you can’t really tell in these pics. The good thing is that I didn’t have spend much time with the blow dryer and none with the straightener!
Wearing: Dress, bag – Gap; Sandals – Target; Belt – I can’t remember!
Hebrews 13:15-16 “Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise – the fruit of our lips that confess his name. And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices, God is pleased.”
Have a lovely day my friends!
