Hello Friends! Doing something a little different today. I, along with the Style Me Bloggers, are writing about what we’ve been reading. As I’ve mentioned before, I’m an avid reader! I also belong to a super fun book club called “Reading Between the Wines”. I’ts as much about the book as the food and drink! So fun 🙂
My daughter, Tessa, gave me the latest Jan Karon novel, “Somewhere Safe with Somebody Good” from the beloved Mitford series for Christmas. I decided to wait to read it until vacation and that starts Sunday!
If you are looking for a sweet, compelling story, I highly recommend the Mitford series. It is the story of an Episcopalian priest and all the antics of his parish and the townspeople. There are many characters to get to know and love and they carry through all the books. There are now 10 books with the first being “At Home in Mitford”.
The author includes a map of the little town of Mitford in each of the books, to help you keep track of who belong where.
The other thing that I love about the author is that , she always weaves the message of salvation in every story.
The nice thing about this series is that you can probably read most of the books for free from the library!
Feel free to check out the other Style Me Bloggers book love posts!

2 Corinthians 5:14-15 “For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.
Have a lovely day my friends!
